TAKE YOUR SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
At KC Elite our team of instructors are committed to providing a first-class goaltending experience to all our participants. We strive to help our goaltenders achieve their goals and take pride in helping every goaltender leave camp better than when they arrived. Established in 2022, Kristen Campbell wanted to create an opportunity for female goaltenders from across Canada to attend the type of camp environment that she never had growing up: an all-female goalie camp, led by female instructors.

Attending this camp, you will get in-depth, firsthand insight into how Campbell trains physically and mentally to ensure optimal performance. Our motto at KC Elite is "we attack success, we don't fear failure.” You will be pushed outside of your comfort zone, challenged daily and encouraged to explore new levels of greatness within your own personal game. Each goaltender will be able to develop their own game plan for success based on the focus areas of camp and the tools that will be added to their toolkit.

CAMP OVERVIEW
The focus will be on tweaking the foundation of our game, our stance. Goaltenders will learn how to properly implement the layers of a stance and execute high, medium and low stances (relaxed and ready). As well as focusing on proper movement mechanics by connecting our head with our hands as well as with our core. Movement patterns will focus on low to high, east to west movement. Pictures and videos will be provided to goaltenders so they can assess their stances and make continuous improvements throughout the week.
DAY 1

BUILDING LAYERED STANCES & MOVEMENT MECHANICS
The focus will be on using our relaxed and ready stances based off where the puck carrier is on a zone entry. Goaltenders will learn the zones 1-4 and positional strategies for each. Accepting the rush and taking necessary timing, back-flow and routes to the post will be worked on. Drills will include traffic and goaltenders will learn how to efficiently locate a sight line without losing depth, balance or positioning.
DAY 2
ZONE ENTRIES, TRAFFIC & TRACKING
The focus will be on different save selections to play when the puck is at a dead angle and we are on our posts. Focus will be on RVH, VH and Overlap execution. Goaltenders will become more comfortable with reading which selection to chose based off proximity and location of the puck. Puck play will include proper rim retrieval mechanics, passing, and making reads under pressure of a forecheck.
DAY 3

POST PLAY & PUCK PLAY
The final day of camp will encompass everything our KC elite goaltenders have learned throughout the week. Drills will be built around the goal of having our goalies battle and compete until the end, while having a ton of fun! Worker awards for both groups will be handed out at the end of this session and an instructor shootout showdown will also take place.
