Richmond Camp Scholarship 2026

Empowering the Next Generation of Elite Goaltenders

KC Elite Goaltending and Poppy Barley have partnered to provide one dedicated U19 female goaltender with fully covered registration for the August 2026 KC Elite Goaltending Camp in Richmond, BC.

We are committed to elevating female goaltenders and providing the foundation they need to stand tall in the crease. The Poppy Barley x KC Elite Goaltending Richmond Camp Scholarship is designed to support a youth goaltender who demonstrates exceptional drive, focus, and a commitment to their development on and off the ice.

Camp Dates: August 24-26, 2026 Location: Richmond Olympic Oval, Richmond, BC

Accommodations generously provided by our hotel partner: River Rock Casino Resort

Scholarship Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility

    • ​Applications are welcome from female, non-binary, and gender-expansive goaltenders under 19 (birth years 2006–2011) who have not yet registered for the Richmond camp.

    • Applicants must be legal residents of Canada.

    • Employees, directors, and agents of KC Elite Goaltending and Poppy Barley, as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and anyone domiciled in the same household, are not eligible to apply.
       

  2. The Award

    • The award covers the cost of one (1) full registration fee for the August 24-26, 2026 KC Elite Goaltending camp in Richmond, BC.

    • Three (3) nights of accommodation generously provided by River Rock Casino Resort Hotel (Aug 23, Aug 24 and Aug 25, 2026)

    • The award is non-transferable, cannot be deferred to a future or different camp, and has no cash value. Travel, meals and equipment are not included.
       

  3. ​Application & Selection

    • Applications must be submitted in full by 11:59 PM PDT on June 14, 2026.

    • The recipient will be selected by KC Elite Goaltending and Poppy Barley through careful review of the applications received. The selected recipient will be notified via email on or around June 16, 2026 and has 48 hours to formally accept the award or another applicant will be selected.
       

  4. Parental Consent & Media Release

    • A parent or legal guardian must consent to the application and agree to these terms.

    • The minimum age is 19  for check-in and an adult 19+ must be staying in the guestroom at the River Rock Casino Resort

    • By accepting the award, the recipient and their parent/legal guardian grant KC Elite Goaltending and Poppy Barley the right to use the recipient's first name and likeness, for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation or further notification. 
       

  5. Legal & Liability

    • By applying, applicants and their guardians agree to release KC Elite Goaltending, Poppy Barley, River Rock Casino Resort and their respective staff, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability, injury, or damages related to the acceptance of this award or participation in the camp.
